Introducing Anna & Mariele!
A couple of weeks ago Mariele and Anna joined our Smartaupairs team as our new interns!
They are here to support our au pair applicants and current au pairs whenever help is needed. Anna and Mariele are the friendly ladies that accompany our au pairs from the very start until the end of their au pair placement, checking in every now and then if everything is going well.
They are also organising and attending our many au pair events this summer which are a great opportunity to make new au pair friends!

Hello everyone! 😊
My name is Mariele and I will be the intern at Smartaupairs until the end of September!
I have been an Au Pair in the UK myself 2 years ago so I know the life and struggles of being an Au Pair and am happy to support you at my best.
I am currently studying to become a teacher in Germany and am now doing the internship as part of my stay abroad. So – just like you – I hope to have a fun time here and get to know Kent and surroundings.
I love musicals and enjoy swimming, cooking and all sorts of day trips so I hope to be out and about on weekends!
I’m very much looking forward to my time in the UK and hope to see you at one of our Au Pair events in future. 😊

I’m Anna and I will be working at Smartaupairs as an intern until mid-November this year. I was lucky to work as an au pair myself in Chicago when I was 18 years old and for that, I know all about the ups and downs of an au pair’s life. So, if there is anything I can help you with, don’t hesitate to reach out. 😊
I’m currently studying International Cultural and Business Studies for which I need to complete this internship abroad. However, like for many of you, this is my first time in the UK and I’m excited to get to know this beautiful country better.
I like almost any type of sports and I’m a huge fan of cooking. I love to get to know new people from all over the world, so I can’t wait to see each and every one of you at our upcoming events! 😊
